Cannoli Recipe by Doris

There is no Cannoli like Nonna’s Cannoli…

and we are sharing our Doris family recipe for Cannoli Cream just for you!

Ingredienti per una porzione:

  • Per La Crema (For the Cream):
    • 1 1/2 lbs Impastata (Ricotta)
    • 9 oz powdered sugar
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
    • 1/4 tsp orange extract


  1. Nonna always said- “anything taste good if you add some sugar to it” so Mix the Impasta with the Sugar.
  2. Now it’s time to make it creamy- Pass the Impastata/Sugar blend through a sieve for that creamy mixture.
  3. Add vanilla extract, cinnamon and orange extract and mix it all up.
  4. Add mini-chocolate chips because what are cannoli’s without mini chocolate chips?
